Today’s show will be discussing this Saturday’s 2014 Lake-Sumter New Home & Remodeling Expo. We are excited to be bringing our listeners a lot of information and details about this Saturday’s Expo along with information on the inaugural “A Lap Against Hunger” which will be going on adjacent to the Expo to benefit Lake Cares Food Pantry located in Mount Dora Florida. Lake Cares provides food to many of our fellow citizens in Lake County and in addition they offer community services to people in need.
The 2014 New Home & Remodeling Expo sponsored by Ro-Mac Lumber & Supply, the Daily Commercial, and the City of Leesburg to be held this Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Leesburg National Guard Armory in Historic Downtown Leesburg at 400 W. Meadow Street from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. This year’s 2014 New Home & Remodeling Expo will feature over 50 booths with vendors in many industries including: new construction builders, remodelers, plumbers, electricians, heating and air vendors, window and door manufacturers, aluminum and vinyl siding providers, sunroom providers, and many more! Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with company owners and representatives about projects they may be considering for their home or office. Attendees can benefit from hands-on demonstrations and the ability to view products that may enhance their next project. Many companies will be offering special prices towards future purchases along with special door prize drawings to add to the fun.
Additional event highlights will include: two live remote radio broadcasts that will be aired during the event by My790AM WLBE in Leesburg and KCountry 93.7 FM. Woolf and his canine friends from Companions for Courage will be there to educate the public on how the love from a remarkable dog can change lives. Plus, at the end of the day one lucky winner will be leaving with the Grand Prize Drawing of $1,000 cash!
Ro-Mac Lumber & Supply will be hosting the inaugural “A Lap Against Hunger” to benefit Lake Cares Food Pantry located in Mount Dora Florida. “A Lap Against Hunger”, will be held at Fountain Park in Leesburg (adjacent to the National Guard Armory) during the Expo. For each person who walks 1 lap around Fountain Park, local businesses will be donating dollars to Lake Cares. Lake Cares will also be collecting non-perishable food donations to fill up a truck. Lake Cares not only provides food for families in need right here in Lake County Florida, but also provides support services to enable families to regain their financial independence.
