Job Title: Class A CDL Wide Load Truck Driver

RoMac Building Supply, a leading provider of building materials in Leesburg, FL, is seeking a Class A CDL Wide Load Truck Driver to join our team. We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver who has experience with forklifts and can load and unload trucks while carrying at least 60 pounds. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver’s license with a verifiable safe driving record and at least 1 year of CDL Class A experience.

 

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities:

• Transport building materials to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner

• Operate a wide-load tractor-trailer and other equipment as needed

• Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts or other equipment

• Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transportation

• Follow all traffic laws and company policies for safe driving practices

• Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections

 

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with a verifiable safe driving record

• At least 1 year of CDL Class A experience

• Forklift experience preferred

• Ability to load and unload trucks while carrying at least 60 pounds

• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
