  • What is the reference or Merchant number?
    • 81035512 is the number you use when asked from GreenSky® on the application. It is the RoMac
      Building Supply ID#
  • Is GreenSky® available at all RoMac locations?
    • Once approved, using the RoMac Merchant ID, your loan is available for use at all RoMac Building Locations
  • Is GreenSky a Lender? Who is my loan serviced by?
    • GreenSky is not a lender. GreenSky is a service provider and program administrator for federally insured, federal and state-chartered banks that provide consumer loans under the GreenSky® Programs.
    • As a borrower, you received a loan agreement that identifies the bank that is offering and funding your loan. This loan agreement is between you and the funding bank directly. However, GreenSky services your loan at the direction and control of your lender, so any questions you have should be directed to GreenSky.
  • Why should I finance my project when I can pay cash or use a credit card?
    • Financing a project with GreenSky® allows you to conserve both your money and your equity. RoMac Building Supply offers 2 GreenSky® plans that are very competitive without have to pay out of pocket all at once.
  • What is a Deferred Interest Loan?
    • If you selected the 0% for 12 Months, your loan includes a “Promotional Period” of 12 months.
    • During that promotional period, interest is billed to your loan, but you are NOT REQUIRED TO PAY that interest YET.
    • If you repay the entire purchase balance before the end of the promotional period (12 months), all interest billed to your account during the promotional period will be waived. If you do not repay the entire purchase balance before the end of the promotional period, you will be responsible for repaying the interest that was billed to your account during the promotional period and any interest that is subsequently billed to your account.
  • When does the Deferred Interest plan promotion window begin?
    • At the time of your first transaction. **
  • I have been approved from GreenSky. Now What?
    • Congratulations! First, you will receive an email “Notice of Approval” that includes a link where you can get your Loan Agreement, 16-DIGIT ACCT NUMBER with expirations date, and other materials you will need to use your loan. GreenSky will also send you a physical copy of the Loan Agreement in the mail.
    • If you are not working with a Sales Rep at RoMac please contact us at: 352-787-4545 so we can connect you with a person to best meet your needs for your dream project. RoMac will need your 16-DIGIT ACCOUNT NUMBER and expiration date. Your RoMac sales rep will help prepare your orders and assist with all your needs.
  • How long do I have to use the loan after approved?
    • You have 6 months to purchase your materials from the time you are approved. If not, you will need to reapply.
  • Why did GreenSky® approved me for more than I applied for?
    • GreenSky calls this “over-accommodation” and it is designed to provide you with the funds you may need for upgrades, cost overruns, etc. We know that home improvement projects can change as they progress. For that reason, the funding banks in the GreenSky® Program have credit rules designed to accommodate the amount you requested and, if you qualify, a buffer above that amount.
    • Regardless of your approved credit limit, however, you are only obligated for the payments you authorize your contractor/merchant to take from your GreenSky® Program loan account. The additional credit limit is simply a convenience.
  • When is my payment due?
    • Depends on your plan.
      • No interest, no payment plans don’t require a payment until the end of the promotion period.
      •  The first payment on a fixed rate plan is typically due approximately 30 days after the first purchase.
    • GreenSky will send you billing statements showing, among other things, transactions on your account, the minimum monthly payment due, and your payment due date. Your payment due date will be the same day of the month every month until you pay off your loan.
  • How do I repay my loan?
    • You may make a payment online by visiting the GreenSky® online portal, by sending a check to the address on your billing statement, or by calling 866-936-0602 and making a check by phone payment.
  • How do I use the GreenSky® online portal?
    • The GreenSky portal is located at on their website. Once you register, you can manage your account, view billing statements, and make payments. You can also make a payment without registering.
    • On the portal, you can make a one-time payment, set up a series of up to six (6) individual payments, or establish recurring auto payments. It’s all designed to make it easy and convenient.
