About the Job
RoMac Building Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to support the sales of roofing materials, including asphalt shingles and related accessories. This role works closely with the outside sales team by preparing quotes, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilites
Support Outside Sales Representatives by preparing quotes and processing material orders
Respond to inbound calls and inquiries from contractors, builders, and property owners
Generate accurate material takeoffs and pricing for shingle packages
Check inventory availability and coordinate order fulfillment
Follow up with existing customers and sales leads to encourage repeat business
Enter and maintain accurate order, product, and delivery information in the ERP/CRM system
Ensure material quantities, color selections, and delivery schedules are accurate
Qualifications
1–3 years of inside sales, account coordination, or material distribution experience required
Experience with building materials, lumber yards, or roofing products preferred
Familiarity with roofing products and major shingle brands (GAF, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, CertainTeed, Tamko) preferred
Strong customer service, communication, and phone sales skills
Proficiency with ERP, CRM, and order entry software
Strong math, organizational, and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
