MECHANIC ASSISTANT

 RoMac Building Supply has an immediate opening for a Mechanic in Leesburg, Florida. With over 500 employees, RoMac is one of Florida's premier residential and commercial building material suppliers. A family owned company; we have been in business since 1945.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES​

• Perform minor mechanical repairsHelp the lead mechanic complete major repairs.

• Assist with maintaining updated records of preventative maintenance

• Inspect vehicles and equipment and evaluate condition; service as needed

• Operate tools, equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures

• Other duties as may be assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Able to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs with general supervision

• Able to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair and maintenance

• Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience

• Driver’s License with good driving record

• Organized and detail oriented

• Forklift repair experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
