Job Title: Mobile Truss Field Technician

 

RoMac Building Supply is hiring an experienced field service technician to repair trusses. As a field service tech, you will be required to travel to customer locations, respond to service requests to make repairs to trusses with directions from the Supervisor. RoMac will provide on-the-job training and you will be fully trained before working alone in the field.

 

Requirements:

• Ability to move and lift equipment weighing up to 60 lb.

• Good driving record

• Able to pass background check

• Attention to detail, able to follow directions given on paper or phone

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Ability to use power tools

• Work independently and within a team environment

• Follow jobsite safety rules

• Excellent communication skills

• Minimum of (3) years residential construction experience, house framing is a plus

 

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday 7am-4pm with overtime as needed.

Applicants with no previous experience will be properly trained in the process of truss repairs.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Florida Driver's License (Required)

 

Experience:

• House Framing: 1 year (Preferred)

• Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)

• Truss Repair: 1 year (Preferred)
