About the Role
This is an entry level position for a help desk technician.
Responsibilities
The primary function will be to answer emails and phone calls from employees that have technical issues with software and hardware. The candidate will then attempt to solve the issue or triage to another member of the IT team. An excellent understanding of web-based productivity like Gmail, Google Sheets, etc. is necessary.
The other main responsibility will be troubleshooting employee ERP system issues (training provided), which will entail helping employees with sales/order functions. Other duties will be distributing toner and consumables, greeting guests as they enter the building and light networking within office areas. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Qualifications
Ability to work from a help desk and answer incoming phones
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent understanding of web-based email and productivity (like Google Workspaces)
Basic understanding of the parts of a computer
Basic understanding of how computer networking works
Familiarity with Windows operating systems
Ability to easily learn new software
ChromeOS and MacOS experience a plus
BisTrack experience a plus
Computer: 1 year (Required)
