From Vision to Reality: Custom Moulding at RoMac

When it comes to finishing a space, details matter. Moulding is one of those elements that can completely transform a project—adding character, depth, and a sense of craftsmanship that stands out. At RoMac, we take that a step further by offering both standard and fully custom moulding solutions, all produced in-house.

Built on Proven Profiles

Through our Walker Brothers Moulding profiles, we offer a wide range of trusted, time-tested designs that fit seamlessly into many styles and applications. These profiles provide a strong foundation for projects that need quality, consistency, and efficiency.

But sometimes, a standard profile isn’t enough.

Turning Your Idea Into a Custom Profile

That’s where our custom moulding process comes in. It starts with a conversation. We sit down with you to understand exactly what you’re looking for—whether it’s matching an existing profile, recreating a historic detail, or designing something entirely new.

Once the vision is clear, we bring it into the digital world. Your moulding concept is carefully scanned to create a precise template.

From there, the template is sent to our CNC machine to generate the knife pattern.

That pattern is then taken to a knife grinder, where the custom knife is precisely shaped to match your profile. This step is critical to ensuring every detail of your design is accurately reproduced.

Precision Craftsmanship, Start to Finish

After the knife is completed, your project moves into production. The job is scheduled and sent to the moulder, where the custom knives are inserted into the heads and placed into the machine.

From there, our team goes to work, carefully producing your moulding profile with consistency and precision. This combination of advanced technology and hands-on expertise ensures that every piece meets the highest standards.

Built for Flexibility and Scale

With the capability to produce mouldings up to 12 inches wide and craft custom knives for virtually any profile, RoMac is equipped to handle everything from simple trims to complex architectural details.
