About the Job
We are currently seeking a Construction Takeoff Technician to support the Design Center and Sales team by preparing accurate material takeoffs and proposals. This role requires interpreting construction plans, creating detailed material lists, and ensuring timely, accurate project estimates.
Responsibilites
Collaborate with the Design Center and Sales team to prepare accurate proposals
Review architectural and structural plans to develop comprehensive material takeoffs
Create complete and accurate material lists based on project scope
Utilize Bluebeam and Excel/Google Sheets to prepare takeoffs and material requests
Communicate with Sales staff regarding project specifications and material requirements
Ensure estimates and takeoffs are completed accurately and on schedule
Qualifications
Construction background required
Experience reading architectural and structural plans required
Proficiency with Bluebeam required
Strong computer skills, including Excel and Google Sheets
Above-average math skills and attention to detail
Ability to prepare accurate material takeoffs and estimates
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
