About the Job
We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring equipment remains safe and operational.
Responsibilites
Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes and minor repairs
Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs independently
Inspect vehicles and equipment to evaluate condition and determine service needs
Maintain accurate preventive maintenance and repair records
Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
Support additional maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience required
Experience with automotive diagnostics required
Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs without supervision
Experience operating vehicle repair and maintenance equipment and tools
Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Forklift repair experience preferred
Self-motivated with a basic set of mechanic's tools required
