About the Job
The People Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting employees and ensuring accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration. This position will be primarily responsible for processing weekly payroll for approximately 700 employees, administering employee benefits, maintaining accurate HR records, and serving as a trusted resource for payroll and benefits questions.
Responsibilites
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for approximately 700 employees.
Review timekeeping, PTO, deductions, and payroll reports; research and resolve discrepancies.
Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, qualifying life events, changes, and terminations.
Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll and benefits questions.
Maintain accurate employee records and update payroll and HRIS information.
Support payroll and benefits compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, and benefits information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience processing weekly payroll for a large employee population preferred.
Experience with Paylocity, Rippling, or a similar payroll/HRIS system preferred.
Strong knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, PTO, deductions, and benefits.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace.
Excellent communication and employee service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
